Optional Tours to Discover China: Post-Congress

As part of the conference, we have designed a comprehensive proposal for those who wish to extend their stay and explore three of China's most iconic destinations in a continuous journey. This plan includes guided tours to historic landmarks, moments for personal exploration, and organized transportation between cities, allowing you to fully enjoy the historical, cultural, and modern richness of the country.

The complete itinerary is detailed below:



Beijing

Duration: 2 nights with breakfast included.

  • The Forbidden CityThe Forbidden City is a majestic palace complex located in China’s capital. For nearly 500 years, from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, it served as the official residence of Chinese emperors and their court, as well as the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government. Named the “Forbidden City” because common people were not allowed entry without special permissions, only courtiers could request an audience with the emperor.

  • Visit to the Temple of HeavenBuilt in 1420, the Temple of Heaven is the largest sacred temple in the People’s Republic of China. Both the Ming and Qing Dynasties used it for rituals to pray for good harvests and to give thanks to heaven for the fruits obtained.

  • Tour of the Olympic VillageThe Olympic Park is a sports complex built in the Chaoyang District for the 2008 Olympic Games. It is a landmark of modern architecture and cultural symbolism.

Xian

Duration: 2 nights with breakfast included

  • Visit to the City WallA striking military defense construction built during the Ming Dynasty, the wall features four main gates located at each cardinal point, as well as numerous watchtowers. It offers a remarkable journey through China’s history.

  • Visit to the Terracotta WarriorsThe Terracotta Warriors site is a majestic archaeological discovery featuring thousands of life-sized clay figures of soldiers, horses, and chariots. This clay army was buried around the mausoleum of Shi Huangdi, the first emperor of China, during the 3rd century BC. The site was uncovered in 1974 by local farmers.

Shangai

Duration: 3 nights with breakfast included

  • Visit to the Yuyuan GardenYuyuan Garden is one of the most famous gardens in the People’s Republic of China. Spanning approximately two hectares, it blends pavilions and ponds with diverse vegetation, showcasing the core elements of traditional Chinese gardening.

  • Stroll along Nanjing RoadNanjing Road is the world’s longest shopping street, stretching about 6 kilometers and attracting over a million visitors daily. It is the heart of shopping and entertainment in Shanghai.

  • Boat Ride to See the City LightsExperience the enchanting beauty of Shanghai’s skyline with a nighttime boat ride along the Huangpu River. Highlights include breathtaking views of the Bund, the city's vibrant cultural district, and the dazzling city lights reflected in the water.

Transportation back to Beijing: Flight from Shanghai to Beijing
